A Wonderful Place to Visit in Town

Daejeon Metropolitan Hanbat Arboretum

Hanbat Arboretum is an artificially-made tree garden in the middle of the city, with a sensory garden, woods for meditation, a marsh garden, eco-forest, a bush garden and a Mugunghwa (Rose of Sharon) hill, and various convenience facilities. Citizens love the Hanbat Arboretum; a comfortable resting place in the middle of the city. Throughout all four seasons, you'll see its unique beauty and you can always find relaxation there.

Hanbat Arboretum, located on the west of Nammun Gwangjang (South Gate Square), has successfully expanded its size to double by creating another one on the east side of the square. Walking through the trail of both sides of the arboretum will definitely give you a peace in your mind. The recently made East Arboretum has a rock garden and water fountain for any visitors to splash around.
On a not very busy weekend, it would be a good idea to take a book to relax and spend some quality time alone or with a friend.
