Announcing 2010 In-Service Training

In-service Training workshops for Guest English teachers and Korean English teachers will be held from April to June, 2010 in 7 different Provincial Education Offices: Jeju, Chungbuk, Daegu, Gyeongbuk/Gyeongnam/Ulsan, Gwangju/Jeonbuk, Daejeon, and Busan. In total, about 1,335 teachers will attend the one-day or two-day workshops at the various provincial training centers or hotels. The purposes of this In-Service Training is "To improve teaching skills of GETs and KETs," "To understand the role of GETs and KETs in co-teaching," "To share useful teaching methods and information," and "To discuss and/or find solutions to overcome difficulties in co-teaching." GETs and KETs will have a chance to share ideas on co-teaching and enhance their co-teaching skills.
