Accepting Fall 2010 Application

EPIK has set up the selection plan for 2010 fall semester, inviting about 1,000 Guest English Teachers for the September and October placement. Fourteen provinces requested EPIK to supply Guest English Teachers; Seoul 300, Busan 75, Daegu 130, Incheon 30, Ulsan 45, Gwangju 20, Daejeon 60, Gyeonggi 20, Gangwon 127, Chungbuk 40, Jeonbuk 3, Jeonnam 1, Gyeongbuk 80, Gyeongnam 11 and Jeju 48.

In 2010 spring semester, EPIK supplied 753 Guest English Teachers (GETs) to public schools nationwide, achieving the 100% recruitment goal. Due to the highly increased demands for GETs from Korean public schools, EPIK has been requested to supply over 1,700 GETs for the 2010 school year.

Applicants for the 2010 fall semester can apply through one the following offices:
- Consulates/Embassies of the following countries:
Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and United States
- EPIK office in Seoul, Korea
- Institutes under agreement with the EPIK office
- Recruiting agencies under contract with the EPIK office
