EPIK has been selecting the best essays of the year written by both Guest English Teachers(GETs) and Korean English Teachers(KETs). This year, there will be also a video contest in addition to the essay. The contest will be held from October through November to not only encourage all GETs and KETs to work in harmony, but to also study teaching strategies and effective methods of connecting with Korean students. Two essays, one from each group(GETs or KETs), and two videos (also one from each group) will be chosen for the Best of the Best Award and will receive cash rewards along with an award certificate. Selected articles will be published, and the manuscripts will be posted online (www.epik.go.kr > Teacher's Resources > Essay). The published books will be delivered to each school in December or in January, 2011. This will be a great opportunity to utilize your creativity, writing skills, and storytelling skills to share about your unique EPIK experience.
