Several Training workshops for Principals were held for 2 day intervals in March and April at the Korean Teachers' Foundation Hotel in Seoul. In attendance were principals from 12 different Provincial Offices of Education. A total of 579 principals attended this workshop in three different sessions: the first on March 24th & 25th, the second on April 1st & 2nd, and the third on the 8th & 9th. The purpose of this Training for principals was to introduce effective management strategies/techniques in managing Guest English Teachers(GETs) and Korean English Teachers(KETs). Topics included: "How to help GETs and KETs improve teaching skills," "Effective ways to support GETs and KETs to co-teach," and "To share effective supporting ideas to help GETs and KETs overcome difficulties in co-teaching." The principals had a good opportunity to exchange wonderful ideas and reconsider working strategies to help GETs teach better while enjoying their experiences more. The Training for Principals have made a remarkable footprint in the English Program In Korea (EPIK).
