EPIK hires for two terms each year according to the Korean public school calendar. There are positions available for the Spring term with the main intake in late February and late intakes in March and April. For the Fall term, there are main intake positions in late August and late intake positions in September and October. Applications for the Spring term open on August 1st of the previous year, and positions for the Fall term open on February 1st of the same year.

There are three methods of applying to the EPIK Program.

  • 1st - EPIK office in Korea
  • 2nd - MOU/MOA Organizations
  • 3rd - Recruiting Agencies







1. Direct Application Through the EPIK Office
  • Create an account and then complete and submit an application through our online application system. Details can be found in the "Apply Now" section. 
  • Wait for a review of your application. If successful, you will be invited for an online interview.
  • Conduct an interview with EPIK online.
  • If successful in passing the interview, you will need to submit all required documents as instructed by your assigned coordinator.
  • If there are no issues with the submitted documents and they are received while placements are still available, your application will be recommended to the offices of education for final placement.
  • If selected by an office of education, your coordinator will notify you of your final placement results.
  • Visa application documents will be sent out to you by the EPIK Office and you will need to apply for your visa if necessary.
  • You will arrive in Korea for orientation and to begin your position with the EPIK Program.

2. Application Through an Official MOU/MOA Organization
  • Contact one of the MOU/MOA organizations below and submit an EPIK application following their instructions and guidance.
  • Wait for a review of your application. If successful, you will be notified by your MOU/MOA and will be invited for an online interview.
  • Conduct an interview with EPIK online.
  • If successful in passing the interview, you will need to submit all required documents to your MOU/MOA organization as instructed by them.
  • Your documents will be reviewed by your MOU/MOA and then passed on to us. If there are no issues with the submitted documents and they are received while placements are still available, your application will be recommended to the offices of education for final placement.
  • If selected by an office of education, your MOU/MOA organization will notifty you of your final placement results.
  • Visa application documents will be sent out to your MOU/MOA organization by the EPIK Office and they will pass them on to you. At that time you will need to apply for your visa if necessary.
  • You will arrive in Korea for orientation and to begin your position with the EPIK Program.

3. Application Through an Official Recruitment Agency
  • Contact one of the Recruitment Agencies listed below and submit an EPIK application following their instructions and guidance.
  • Wait for a review of your application. If successful, you will be notified by your Recruitment Agency and will be invited for an online interview.
  • Conduct an interview with EPIK online.
  • If successful in passing the interview, you will need to submit all required documents to your Recruitment Agency as instructed by them.
  • Your documents will be reviewed by your Recruitment Agency and then passed on to us. If there are no issues with the submitted documents and they are received while placements are still available, your application will be recommended to the offices of education for final placement.
  • If selected by an office of education, your Recruitment Agency will notify you of your final placement results.
  • Visa application documents will be sent out to your Recruitment Agency by the EPIK Office and they will pass them on to you. At that time you will need to apply for your visa if necessary.
